Great speakers, terrific opportunities to network, incredible energy! Writers at every stage can learn new things and get new ideas.

Thank you for the best weekend of my life!! Learned so much and met so many wonderful people . . . can’t wait for next year!

My time at the JRW conference is magical. The energy from the speakers and participants permeates the air and infuses it with possibilities and promise. It’s a Disney World for writers!

The James River Writer Conference was life-altering, both personally and professionally. As a teacher, I gleaned information about process, editing, and publishing to teach my students so that they can look at literature from the perspective of a writer; furthermore, as a writer, I grew thanks to seminars and panel discussions giving insight into character and world building, editing, and professional expectations.
