Phillip Hilliker has been a freelance illustrator for eighteen years. While the bulk of his output has been in the role-playing game industry, his focus for the past few years has been shifting toward writing for kids, including middle-grade novels and picture books. He is also the membership coordinator for James River Writers, and teaches at both Visual Arts Center of Richmond and Richmond Young Writers. @philhilliker
