THE 2019 CONFERENCE IS SOLD OUT!
Prices for a two-day conference ticket, which includes breakfast and lunch buffets each day and the opportunity to book a single one-on-one appointment with a literary agent will be as follows:
Early-bird ticket: June 1 – July 31st: $250 James River Writers members, $305 non-members.
Regular two-day ticket: August 1 – October 11 (or until we sell out): $300 members, $355 for non-members
Regular one-day ticket: $175 members, $195 for non-members
Full-time student two-day ticket: $125. Student rate only applies to students who are full-time high school students or enrolled in an accredited college or university as full-time students at the time of the conference in October 2019.
Master Classes on October 11, 2019: $45 members, $65 for non-members. Some Master Classes still have slots available. Find out More!
Preparing to Register
Before clicking the REGISTER NOW button, we recommend you decide which the of six pre-conference Master Classes you want to register for (you can register for up to three classes at $45-65 each).
Also, if you’d like to pitch a literary agent or meet with a writing coach, review their bios so you can pick the people who will be the best match for your work. You can find them and more information about one-on-one appointments here: One-on-Ones. Each attendee may only have one agent meeting and one writing coach meeting (as availability permits). Appointments are first come first served and fill up quickly.
Once you’ve made your selections, grab your credit card, and you’ll be all set to complete the registration form.
Cancellations and requests for refunds must be submitted in writing by mail or email by midnight on September 30, 2019, to [email protected]. A cancellation fee of 15% of your total will apply. No refunds will be issued after October 1, 2019. Refunds will be credited to your credit card account (or mailed if fee was paid by check) within 30 days after the conference.
