Tracey Livesay’s latest release, Sweet Talkin’ Lover, is an enemies to lovers story set in a fictional small town in Virginia. It’s Book #1 in her new Girls Trip series from Avon, which is based on her real life annual trips with her best friends. In addition to winning the 2018 Emma Award for Best Interracial Romance, she’s been featured in The New York TimesThe Washington Post, and The Chicago Tribune. A graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law and former criminal defense attorney, Tracey lives in Virginia with her husband and their three children.

Dr. Laura E. Knouse

Dr. Laura E. Knouse is Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Richmond and a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in cognitive-behavioral therapy for adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Author of over 35 journal articles and book chapters, her recent work focuses on the role of overly positive thoughts in problematic avoidance and procrastination. This summer, Dr. Knouse co-authored her first book entitled, “When the Leader Faces Personal Crisis: The Human Side of Leadership.” Dr. Knouse teaches courses on psychopathology, ADHD, and the principles of behavior and behavior analysis.

Julie Valerie writes upmarket women’s fiction and is developing a series set in the fictional Village of Primm. Her debut novel, Holly Banks Full of Angst, was released in December 2019 with Lake Union Publishing. Julie founded the 85K Writing Challenge (85K90.com), providing writers with a supportive, enriching forum to pen 85,000 words in 90 days followed by 12 months of writing, editing, prepping to pub, and publishing support. Patricia Smith

Patricia Smith is the author of the novel The Year of Needy Girls (Kaylie Jones Books), a Lambda Literary Award finalist. Her short fiction has appeared most recently in the Masters Review, and her nonfiction has appeared in several anthologies and literary magazines. Twice nominated for a Pushcart, she has been awarded writing fellowships from the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA) and the Row-land Writers Retreat.
