Community is at the core of everything we do, and Writers Wednesday is the perfect place to strengthen that. Writers Wednesday brings together writers of every experience level and genre in a casual atmosphere to connect, laugh, and revel in a well-deserved break. While hosting this program online, we create rotating, intimate groups of 3-5 people in breakout rooms, to allow attendees to have manageable conversations with others. And, JRW staff is always on hand to answer any questions you may have about James River Writers, or writing in general. At the top of the program, we invite a Community Connection organization to share resources they have available to our writing community. This is a great entry point for those that are new to the James River Writers community. Plan to join us!
Our Community Connections feature for November is NaNoWriMo. Mary Archer will come and share about National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). Writing a novel alone can be difficult, even for seasoned writers. NaNoWriMo helps you track your progress, set milestones, connect with other writers in a vast community, and participate in events that are designed to make sure you finish your novel. Oh, and best of all, it’s free!
