Where To Stay
Richmond has many lodging options within close proximity to the Richmond Convention Center. Here, we have listed a few of the options at various price points. However, please note, no conference rates are available at these hotels since many online travel websites offer better rates than the hotels could offer us. We suggest contacting the hotels directly or using your favorite online travel site. You can also find more information on the Visit Richmond site.
Richmond Marriott, 500 E Broad St., a classic business hotel connected to the convention center, offering a free area shuttle, a bar & a pool. You can easily walk to the James River Writers Conference in the attached building.
Hilton Richmond Downtown, 501 East Broad Street, is two blocks from the Convention Center. Housed in the former Miller & Rhoads department store, an iconic building with over 100 years of history, the Hilton spans an entire city block.
Holiday Inn Express Richmond Downtown, 201 E Cary St., a conventional hotel offering rooms & suites with free Internet & breakfast, plus a gym, is approximately six blocks from the Convention Center.
Courtyard Richmond Downtown, 1320 E. Cary St, right nextdoor to one of our favorite independent bookstores.
Quirk Hotel, 201 West Broad Street, a boutique hotel with local artwork and a rooftop bar. About three minutes from the Convention Center.
