The James River Writers Conference is an annual gathering in Richmond, Virginia, that attracts prize-winning authors and highly regarded editors and literary agents from around the country to share their wisdom about writing and publishing. Since 2003, this multi-day event of 350 to 400 writers has been known for its inspiring, collegial atmosphere and hospitality. We hope you’ll join us this year. We have made the difficult decision to move this year’s conference online. But, rest assured that we will be including the same elements that have made this conference a successful, sold-out event for the writing community year after year. Look forward to The Agent Dating Game, First Pages, Master Classes, and more! In addition, we are building in opportunities for networking and fun engagement like morning Writing Prompts and Pre-Conference “Parties,” knowing that community is at the heart of everything we do.
