SARAH NICOLAS is a recovering mechanical engineer, library event planner, and author who lives in Orlando with a 60-lb mutt who thinks he’s a chihuahua and a gray fluffy cat who thinks she’s a dog. They have published both traditionally and independently, and have also worked in the publishing industry as an editorial intern, editorial assistant, publicist, publicity director, cover artist, and art director. Sarah is the current Agent Liaison for Pitch Wars and the host of PubTalk Live.

John Vercher
JOHN VERCHER is the author of the award-nominated Three-Fifths (Agora Books 2019) and After The Lights Go Out (Soho Press 2022). He is a writer currently living in Philadelphia and earned a Bachelor’s in English from the University of Pittsburgh and an MFA in Creative Writing from the Mountainview Master of Fine Arts program. John also served as an adjunct faculty member at Chestnut Hill College and is a contributing writer for “Cognoscenti,” the thoughts and opinions page of WBUR Boston. Two of his essays published on race, identity, and parenting were picked up by NPR, and he has been featured on WBUR’s Weekend Edition. His non-fiction work has also appeared in Entropy Magazine, CrimeReads, and Booklist.

BILL BLUME\’s love for the written word started in high school with an addiction to comic books that was later hijacked by novels such as Frankenstein and Dragonflight. Like the father figure in his novels, he\’s worked as a 911 dispatcher for more than 15 years.
