FEBRUARY ONLINE NUTS & BOLTS LUNCHTIME SERIES: Using the Canva Platform to Promote Your Work

Thursdays 11:30 am – 12:30 pm Eastern | February 9, 16, 23

Writers often begrudge having to promote their work, thinking they need to have extensive training and expertise in areas of graphic design and marketing. Budget constraints are real and can keep you from hiring a professional, but there’s hope! Canva provides an easy-to-use, intuitive online platform with endless options for graphic design, social media and video content creation, and so much more!

JRW’s Director of Programs and Communications, Brynn Markham, will be your instructor for this three-part series that will help you gain confidence when using this FREE online tool to get the job done! Brynn has used Canva extensively in her communications roles with James River Writers, VPM NPR/PBS, and with numerous ad hoc projects for nonprofits in the Greater Richmond community. More about Brynn’s work experience HERE.

Each class in this series includes: a one-hour online workshop, access to the recording, and an action-items worksheet with additional links and resources.

Choose one, two, or all three (BEST BUY!) classes in the series.
