We have four great options in our tiered membership program that help each member find the participation level that best suits their needs while maximizing savings!
James River Writers Annual Membership Tiers
Student Membership ($25 annually) is open to full-time high school and college students.
Traditional Membership ($50 annually) is our most popular membership, giving you access to all our standard benefits and discounts.
Writing Show Membership ($135 annually) includes current membership and a season pass to the Writing Show. Writing Show Memberships will include an exclusive seventh, online Writing Show on April 30, 2024, that will not be available to the general public. (More information on this event coming soon!) At this membership level you will receive all the Writing Show recordings for any online programs, including the exclusive April show, even if you can’t attend the show.
All-inclusive Membership ($699 annually) is for members who want to attend (almost*) everything JRW offers! It includes current membership; a Writing Show season pass; registrations to all single-session Master Classes, Nuts & Bolts programs, and Querypalooza; and registration to the Annual Conference, including the Pre-conference Master Classes. Additionally, members at this level always get personal notifications about upcoming classes (so you won’t miss it in GYWO!) and stay top of mind for new opportunities. As long as we’re recording programs, this level will also get any recordings automatically, including all nine recording for the Pre-conference Master Classes, whether you are able to attend our programs or not. Additionally, All-inclusive Memberships will include an exclusive seventh, online Writing Show on April 30, 2024 that will not be available to the general public. (More information on this event coming soon!) All-inclusive members save over $400 annually.
*Because of limited space, the Spring Retreat (Springboard!) is not included in any level of membership and must be purchased separately.
