How unlikeable can a character be before readers give up? How do you layer a character so that they’re well-rounded and believably flawed but not too flawed? He teaches in the University of Nebraska Omaha’s Low-Residency MFA program and at VCU. It was a nominee for the 2020 Library of Virginia Literary Awards\, and was awarded #12 of the 100 Best Indie Books of 2019.
