SUMMARY:ONLINE WRITERS WEDNESDAY April 2025
DESCRIPTION:Community is at the core of everything we do\, and Writers Wednesday is the perfect place to strengthen that. Writers Wednesday brings together writers of every experience level and genre in a casual atmosphere to connect\, laugh\, and revel in a well-deserved break. We rotate hosting these programs online and in-person\, and April will be online\, via the Zoom platform. JRW staff is always on hand to answer any questions you may have about James River Writers\, or writing in general. This is a great entry point for those who are new to the James River Writers community. You do not have to be a JRW member to attend! Come for the duration\, or drop in as your schedule allows. \nSPECIAL FEATURE: Newcomers Welcome – At the top of the program\, Get an overview of JRW’s programs\, membership options\, and more. Find out what it’s like to work with an agent\, the questions you must ask when starting that relationship\, and what you can and can’t expect once you sign. Lisa will talk about what makes a book\, query\, or nonfiction proposal stand out; what questions you should ask when you get “the call;” and what you should expect (or not) from agent communication.
